Dear Drash Pit Readers:

As you may have surmised, the publication of Drash Pit has been temporarily suspended. Other projects have called to me and I’m now involved in writing a creative nonfiction something or other and in growing my new business -- Essay Doc. https://www.facebook.com/EssayDoc  & on Twitter @EssayDoc

Six years ago when I published the first issue of Drash Pit, I was looking to participate in, build, and feature, a vibrant creative community. By way of gutsy contributors, stalwart supporters and intrepid readers my goal was realized and it’s been a great ride. But I, who never had a remote desire to be one, no longer want to be a deadline-driven, up-all-night graphic artist. I’m not qualified and I’m exhausted.

That said, I am a writer/reader/promoter who does want to continue mulling over words, images and sounds and to keep calling attention to you, their masters. My plan, in this regard, is to turn the Drash Pit Facebook page into a kind of a mini-ezine where I hype your work and feature links to whatever you’re doing and publishing. You too can post on the page and talk about whatever you’re enamored of, including your own work. I will do the same on the Drash Pit Twitter feed. Of course, for this effort to make a difference, for the page to get liked and linked, you must be its followers and promoters. The FB page audience needs to expand. Like it and get your friends to like it too. Your involvement will keep the Drash Pit community humming and the Pit full of mosh worthy work. See you on Facebook.
Happy creating, Neena Husid, proud founder of Drash Pit.
